Our Figure 8 Central Loose Tube Cable is designed to provide reliable protection for 200um or 250um fibers in harsh environments. The cable consists of high modulus plastic loose tubes, which are filled with a water resistant compound to protect the fibers.
To create a compact and circular cable core, the tubes and fillers are stranded around a non-metallic central strength member made of FRP. The core is then filled with more filling compound and covered with a thin PE inner sheath.
To add extra strength, we apply a stranded layer of aramid yarns over the inner sheath. Finally, we complete the cable with either a PE or AT outer sheath for added protection.
Figure 8 Central Loose Tube Cable is an ideal solution for telecommunications development and network expansion projects. With its high modulus plastic loose tubes and non-metallic central strength member, it can withstand the toughest conditions. The aramid yarns and outer sheath provide additional reinforcement and protection, ensuring the safety and longevity of the cable.
If you're looking for a reliable and durable cable for your network infrastructure, our Figure 8 Central Loose Tube Cable is the right choice for you. Its water-resistant compound, non-metallic central strength member and aramid yarns make it an ideal solution for telecommunications development and network expansion projects.
