Details

Our All Dielectric Self-supporting Aerial Cable features a loose tube stranded design, with 200um or 250um fiber positioned into high modulus plastic tubes.

These tubes are filled with a water-resistant compound for added protection.

The cable core is then formed by stranding the tubes (and fillers) around a non-metallic central strength member made of Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP).
 

To ensure durability, the core is filled with a filling compound and covered with a thin polyethylene inner sheath.

This is further strengthened by a stranded layer of aramid yarns, serving as a strength member. Finally, the cable is completed with a polyethylene or anti-tracking outer sheath.
